Softball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Milton can now relate to. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middleburg Broncos on Thursday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Middleburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middleburg, they will challenge Matanzas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
