Football Recap: Franklinton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Franklinton entered their matchup against Wake Forest on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Red Rams took a hard 23-7 fall against the Cougars. The contest marked the Red Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Micah Olu was his usual excellent self, rushing for 117 yards and a pair of scores for Wake Forest. Olu also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Cougars are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Wake Forest also got a significant boost from Stefen Tabon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.

Franklinton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Wake Forest, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.
