Baseball Recap: Thomasville Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Davidson, Thomasville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the South Davidson Wildcats 6-4. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Elijah McNeair, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luis Bejarano Sosa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Thomasville's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for South Davidson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomasville will face off against Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Davidson, they will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
