Volleyball Recap: Chippewa Falls Find Success

Chippewa Falls's tournament run continued when they took on Shanley on Friday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Deacons by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Willa Risinger paced Chippewa Falls' offense, picking up seven kills. Risinger got some help from Barrett Boisvert and her 16 assists. Risinger also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lauren Shepherd, each putting up two.

Chippewa Falls' victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Shanley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Chippewa Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Rosemount on the 3rd. Shanley has also already played their next match (against Fargo North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
