Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chicago Mt. Carmel walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 42-21 margin over the Fremd Vikings on Saturday. The victory was just business as usual for the Caravan, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.

Although Fremd took the loss, they still got scores from Ben Riddle and Marquan Brewster.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Fremd, they moved to 11-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Chicago Mt. Carmel will face off against Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 10.3 points per game this season, so the Caravan's offense will have their work cut out for them. Fremd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
