East Union won the last time they faced Oakdale and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lancers blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-9, 25-12.

Xavier Gaspar paced East Union's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gaspar got some help from Guadalupe Reyes and his 17 assists. Reyes was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

East Union now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Oakdale, they dropped their record down to 3-24 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, East Union will head out to challenge Patterson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakdale, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Modesto at 6:00 p.m.
