Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vinalhaven). They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 victory over the Wiscasset Wolverines on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Vinalhaven's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Wiscasset, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Vinalhaven won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Valley at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. One thing working in Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Wiscasset, they will head out to take on Searsport at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
