Soccer Recap: Collierville Comes Up Short

Collierville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Houston Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Houston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Wednesday.

Carlos Rios and John Campbell scored both of Collierville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Collierville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-2. As for Houston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1-5.

As of now, neither Collierville nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
