Soccer Game Preview: Fulshear vs. George Ranch

The Fulshear Chargers will venture away from home to take on the George Ranch Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fulshear will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Fulshear took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Strake Jesuit, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chargers won by a goal and slipped past the Fighting Crusaders 2-1.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for George Ranch's offense. They lost 3-0 to Alief Elsik on Friday. While losing is never fun, George Ranch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 532nd, while Alief Elsik are ranked 145th).

George Ranch has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5-1 record this season. As for Fulshear, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Everything went Fulshear's way against George Ranch in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Fulshear made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Longhorns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
