Soccer Recap: Gaylord Takes a Loss

Gaylord lost against Big Rapids two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 1-0. Gaylord have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gaylord's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Big Rapids, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Gaylord didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Kingsford on the 10th. As for Big Rapids, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Chippewa Hills at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Big Rapids' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Chippewa Hills have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
