After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tuscarora, South Hagerstown was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Oakdale 3-2. The Rebels haven't had any issues with Oakdale recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Kailia Burke made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Burke was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
