Johnston is 8-2 against Urbandale since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Johnston Dragons will host the Urbandale J-Hawks at 7:45 p.m.

Last Friday, Johnston didn't have quite enough to beat Ankeny and fell 41-38. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Urbandale). They came out on top against Lincoln by a score of 73-65 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the J-Hawks with their most commanding win of the season.

Urbandale's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Johnston, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Johnston took their win against Urbandale when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 62-37. Will Johnston repeat their success, or does Urbandale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
