Volleyball Recap: East Hamilton Takes a Loss

East Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the CSTHEA Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, East Hamilton sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23, 19-25, 25-18, 22-25, 15-8.

Avery Brennan had a dynamite game For CSTHEA., getting 21 digs and four aces. Those 21 digs gave Brennan a new career-high.

East Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 10-21. As for CSTHEA, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

East Hamilton has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Bradley Central on the 30th. As for CSTHEA, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Silverdale Academy on the 30th.
