Westbury took a 35-point loss the last time they faced off against Baldwin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Green Dragons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bruins on Wednesday, sneaking past 53-50. The 53-point effort marked the Green Dragons' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win (which was Westbury's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Baldwin, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Westbury has already played their next matchup, a 70-63 win against Herricks on the 10th. As for Baldwin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-51 victory against Oceanside on the 10th.
