Soccer Recap: Gate City Falls to Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association in First Game of Season

Gate City had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions.

Looking ahead, Gate City will head out to square off against Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ambassador Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
