Volleyball Recap: Corona Del Mar Finds Playoff Glory Versus Carlsbad

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Corona del Mar walked away with it. They came out on top against the Carlsbad Lancers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

The victory didn't come easy: Carlsbad scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Corona del Mar is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. As for Carlsbad, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 35-3.

Coming up, Corona del Mar will face off against Huntington Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carlsbad does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
