Volleyball Recap: Tuloso-Midway Takes a Loss

Tuloso-Midway lost against Calhoun back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors & Cherokees fell 3-1 to the Sandcrabs. The Warriors & Cherokees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-11, 25-20.

Despite the defeat, Tuloso-Midway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jesslin Diaz had 18 assists and seven digs.

Tuloso-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Calhoun, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-9.

Tuloso-Midway has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Robstown on the 23rd. As for Calhoun, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Ingleside on the 23rd.
