Football Recap: Schley County Triumphs + How To Watch

Schley County and Irwin County pushed the score to 60-35 the last time they played Irwin County, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Indians. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 60-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Schley County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Irwin County, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Schley County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 33-6 loss against Early County on the 5th. As for Irwin County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dooly County at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th.
