Volleyball Recap: Walker Wolverines vs. Westminster Wildcats

Walker lost against Westminster back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. While the Wolverines didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 25-18 in the first set.

Walker took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, Walker saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kinley Crisp had 13 digs.

Leading Westminster to victory were Sophia Bonadies and Kiran Chen. Bonadies had 24 digs and four aces, while Chen had ten digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Chen a new career-high.
