Baseball Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Green Level's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holly Springs Golden Hawks on Thursday. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Golden Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Green Level's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Holly Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Green Level didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-5 defeat against Northern Durham on the 2nd. As for Holly Springs, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Panther Creek at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
