Baseball Recap: Rock Hill Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Rock Hill barely beat Reedy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Hawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lions a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Blue Hawks have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Rock Hill and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Reedy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Hill will square off against Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reedy, they will face off against The Colony at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
