Kings Mountain put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Franklin Panthers.

Kings Mountain had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.

Ruby Osborne paced Kings Mountain's offense, picking up 16 kills. Osborne got some help from Abigail Hedgepath and her 27 assists. Hedgepath was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Kings Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Franklin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings Mountain is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Maiden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to square off against East Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
