Dawson put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alvin Yellowjackets, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 13th.

Dawson pushed their record up to 13-11-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Alvin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12-1.

Dawson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellowjackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
