Basketball Recap: Waupun Comes Up Short

Waupun lost against Stoughton back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Waupun Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Stoughton Vikings. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Waupun's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Stoughton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Waupun will face off against Wauwatosa West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wauwatosa West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Waupun likes a good challenge. As for Stoughton, they will square off against Lakeside Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
