Soccer Game Preview: Dominion vs. Rock Ridge

For the first time this season, Dominion will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Rock Ridge Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rock Ridge took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Dominion, who comes in off a win.

While Dominion's win against Woodgrove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans skirted past the Wolverines 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dominion.

Lilly Gray and Laraib Zaman scored all three of Dominion's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Rock Ridge came up short against Briar Woods on Thursday and fell 4-2.

Dominion pushed their record up to 6-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Rock Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Dominion took their victory against Rock Ridge in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Phoenix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
