Soccer Recap: West Geauga's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Hawken on Thursday, West Geauga came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell just short of the Kenston Bombers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but West Geauga couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Faelynn Beckrest, who's now up to ten this season.

West Geauga's loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Kenston, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4-1.

West Geauga didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Hathaway Brown on the 30th. As for Kenston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Western Reserve Academy on the 29th.
