Basketball Recap: Schalick Starts Season with Victory Against Cape May County Tech

Schalick gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 49-33 victory over the Cape May County Tech Hawks. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Schalick won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Clayton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cape May County Tech, they are taking a road trip to face off against Vineland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cape May County Tech will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
