Football Game Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. South Pasadena Tigers + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Elleyon Clark and Trey Freking are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Palmdale Falcons will be playing at home against the South Pasadena Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Palmdale sitting on six straight wins and South Pasadena on five.

Palmdale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Diamond Bar with points to spare, taking the game 39-20.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Clark and Dominic Tortorelli. Clark had a great game and gained 219 total yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Tortorelli was balling out in the loss, rushing for 132 yards and two TDs, while also picking up 43 receiving yards.

Palmdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zason Walker and Raymond Gomez.

Meanwhile, South Pasadena made easy work of San Marcos on Friday and carried off a 42-17 victory.

Palmdale better keep an eye on Rick Matsuda. He was instrumental in South Pasadena's win, rushing for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards Matsuda has posted since back in November of 2024. Evan Hyun helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

South Pasadena was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 459 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

South Pasadena's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Palmdale, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
