Basketball Game Preview: Ogilvie Lions vs. Barnum Bombers

Ogilvie and Barnum are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Ogilvie Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Barnum Bombers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ogilvie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Last Thursday, Ogilvie strolled past Mora with points to spare, taking the game 57-42.

Meanwhile, Barnum entered their game against Cromwell on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Barnum was outmatched by Cromwell and fell 63-27. The contest marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ogilvie's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.4 points. As for Barnum, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Ogilvie took their win against Barnum in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 90-69. Will Ogilvie repeat their success, or does Barnum have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
