Volleyball Game Preview: Canoga Park Hunters vs. San Fernando Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Canoga Park Hunters and the San Fernando Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses for Canoga Park and five for San Fernando.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Canoga Park and Reseda had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hunters came up short against the Regents last Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Canoga Park took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 26-24.

Meanwhile, San Fernando came up short against Van Nuys last Wednesday and fell 3-1. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 25-21 in the first set.

San Fernando started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 26-24, 25-11.

San Fernando's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Canoga Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
