Baseball Recap: Cattaraugus-Little Valley Takes a Loss

Cattaraugus-Little Valley's last matchup with Franklinville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Timberwolves lost 14-1 to the Panthers. If the Timberwolves were looking for revenge after losing 6-4 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Ulinger, who went 1-for-2 with one run. That hit marked the first that Ulinger has got this season.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley's defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Franklinville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

While Cattaraugus-Little Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
