Football Recap: Crean Lutheran Saints vs. Foothill Knights        
        
		
             On Friday, the Crean Lutheran Saints didn't have too much trouble with the Foothill Knights at home   as they won  38-20. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Saints.
  Taurian Nash was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards. Another player making a difference was  Dylan D?Epifanio, who threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Crean Lutheran was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 260  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Foothill only rushed for 130.
 Crean Lutheran didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Ben Byszewski. Crean Lutheran got some further help from  Anthony Jones: he picked up  a  sack, made ten total tackles,  and defended two passes.
 Although Foothill took the loss, they still got scores from  Nico Mancini and  Fysher Jamieson.
 Crean Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Foothill,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crean Lutheran will welcome El Dorado  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. El Dorado is coming into the  matchup with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Crean Lutheran will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. As for Foothill, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Laguna Hills  at 7:00  p.m. Foothill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33.3  points per game  this season.
