Plainview is a perfect 9-0 against Harrisonburg since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Hornets will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Plainview knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Harrisonburg likes a good challenge.

Plainview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They beat Gibsland-Coleman by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 19-2.

Meanwhile, Harrisonburg lost 16-1 to LaSalle on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Harrisonburg's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Plainview, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

Everything went Plainview's way against Harrisonburg when the teams last played back in March of 2021, as Plainview made off with a 10-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
