Delta Charter took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Beau Chene, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Storm won by a goal and slipped past the Gators 2-1. While Delta Charter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-14-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Delta Charter is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Beau Chene, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Delta Charter has already played their next match, a 3-3 draw against Morgan City on the 20th. As for Beau Chene, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vermilion Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
