After flying high against Cypress two weeks ago, Tesoro came back down to earth. The Tesoro Titans fell just short of the Newport Harbor Sailors by a score of 34-31 on Friday. Despite 174 more yards than the Sailors, the Titans couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nic Brubaker, who rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown. Campbell Schamel also helped out with an impressive 103 receiving yards.
