Football Game Preview: Magnet Cove vs. Bigelow

Magnet Cove will be playing at home against Bigelow at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Magnet Cove are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

Magnet Cove might have drawn first blood against Mountain Pine last Friday, but it was Mountain Pine who got the last laugh. Magnet Cove fell to Mountain Pine 24-33. Despite the defeat, Magnet Cove saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Landon Stone picked up 131 yards on the ground and caught passes for 61 yards. Dawson has been a consistent playmaker for Magnet Cove as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Bigelow, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They came up short against Poyen, falling 28-39.

Everything came up roses for Magnet Cove against Bigelow the last time the two teams met as the squad secured a 48-0 win. Will Magnet Cove repeat their success, or does Bigelow have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
