Basketball Recap: Chelsea Takes a Loss

Chelsea lost against Health Profession back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. 2025 welcomed the Chelsea Lions with a 51-31 loss courtesy of Health Profession. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 490th, while Health Profession are ranked 217th).

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Health Profession, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

When Chelsea and Health Profession next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chelsea will try to stop Seward Park's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Health Profession will take on Lab Museum United and their six-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
