Volleyball Recap: Valmeyer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valmeyer lost against Marissa/Coulterville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meteors. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12.

Kadence Seitz paced Valmeyer's offense, picking up four kills. Seitz got some help from Maddi Huddleston and her eight assists.

Valmeyer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18-1. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they moved to 20-8 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Valmeyer will challenge rival Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marissa/Coulterville is set to take on their familiar foe Steeleville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
