Gorham and Noble are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Gorham nor Noble posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Gorham fell victim to Cheverus and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (2-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Gorham saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucy Dubail, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Noble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to Biddeford.

Gorham's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Noble, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Gorham took their win against Noble in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
