Volleyball Recap: Epiphany Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when Epiphany took on Rocky Mount Academy on Thursday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Epiphany couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Rocky Mount Academy a tough time in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 35-5.

Epiphany has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Rocky Mount Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Epiphany will challenge rival Wayne Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rocky Mount Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Wayne Country Day at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
