Soccer Recap: James Monroe Comes Up Short

James Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Summit Christian Academy Falcons. The matchup was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for James Monroe it sure didn't stay that way.

James Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Summit Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-0-3.

Coming up, James Monroe will challenge Midland Trail at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will face off against Capital at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Capital's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
