Upper Perkiomen is 8-2 against Norristown since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Upper Perkiomen is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Upper Perkiomen will bounce into Monday's game after beating Spring-Ford, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Rams 4-3 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.

Upper Perkiomen's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Fijalkowski, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Jordin Dice also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Norristown came up short against Perkiomen Valley on Friday, falling 11-3. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Norristown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Upper Perkiomen, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Upper Perkiomen got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Norristown by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
