Basketball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson was the 39-36 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Anderson Trojans fell 50-42 to the Austin Maroons on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anderson's record is now 5-19. As for Austin, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson will venture away from home to take on Bastrop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
