Soccer Recap: Chariton Comes Up Short

Chariton came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks, falling 10-0.

Chariton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-4 record this season. As for Colfax-Mingo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chariton will host Central Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colfax-Mingo, they will welcome Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
