Basketball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Joplin last Monday, Glendale came back down to earth. The Glendale Falcons lost 55-30 to the Strafford Indians on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Indians are ranked 11th).

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Strafford, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Glendale has already played their next contest (against Neosho), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Strafford will face off against Hickman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
