Basketball Recap: Hot Springs Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Benton, Hot Springs was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 win over the El Dorado Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 62-58 defeat.

Hot Springs' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 8.25 points across that stretch. As for El Dorado, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hot Springs will take on Arkansas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Dorado, they will square off against Lake Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st.
