Baseball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bayshore Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 on Thursday.

Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Bayshore Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Washington County by a score of 9-7 later that day.
