Palmetto has no trouble against Seminole

Recap: Palmetto Tigers vs. Seminole Warhawks

The Palmetto Tigers's and the Seminole Warhawks's game on Tuesday was close at halftime, but the Palmetto Tigers turned on the heat in the second half with 25 points. Everything went Palmetto's way against Seminole as Palmetto made off with a 44-24 win. The win was just business as usual for Palmetto, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Palmetto can attribute much of their success to Aliyah Parker, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Saniya Moody, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.

Loss or not, Seminole got some senior leadership from Devon Swartz who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and Laney Pearson who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Pearson scored a full 33.3% of Seminole's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Palmetto's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seminole, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmetto will take on Bradenton Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bradenton Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Seminole, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeast at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northeast comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
