Kennedy lost to Seymour last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Kennedy Eagles walked away with a 66-55 win over the Seymour Wildcats. That 11 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Despite the loss, Seymour still got an impressive performance from Joey Carrafiello, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. That was a full 41.8% of Seymour's points, marking the fifth time in a row Carrafiello has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robby Carrafiello, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and seven assists.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Seymour, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-7.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-53 win against Ansonia on the 18th. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. One thing working in Seymour's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
