Baseball Game Preview: Norfork Panthers vs. Omaha Eagles

Norfork has gone a perfect 3-0 against Omaha recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Norfork has given up an average of 11.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Norfork lost 19-9 to Yellville-Summit.

Meanwhile, Omaha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Jasper, falling 18-0.

Omaha's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Norfork, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Everything went Norfork's way against Omaha when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Norfork made off with a 16-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
